Ask your church, neighbors, family, schools, etc...we have had a school buy $500 worth of flowers in the past...keep asking!
If your scout is going on a high adventure, mid-adventure or summer/spring break/winter camps, participating in fundraising can help contribute to the costs of these activities.
There will be two rounds of Camperships awarded in the next 12 months. 1) In May following in the Spring fundraisers 2) In December following the Fall fundraisers
When reviewing campership requests, financial need is NOT the only consideration. The committee looks at:
Participation in troop meetings, camp-outs, service projects, etc
Advancement record
Financial need
Participation in fundraising
Scout Spirit

As you may be aware, Governor Greg Abbott announced that, beginning next Wednesday, March 10, the statewide mask mandate would be lifted, encouraging all Texans to take personal responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
Circle Ten Council is committed to the safety of its members, so at this time we have not made any changes to our current COVID-19 safety protocols. We ask that you remain vigilant to ensure the safety of all who participate. If updates are made to our safety procedures, we will share them broadly.
We are holding a Scout Hut fix & Clean it day today, Sunday the 21st from 1 - 4 PM. The plan will be to tend to various items on the Scout Hut that have been wearing down over the last couple years and need attention including:
- new boards cut and painted to replace the weathered door jambs around the door and garage doors
- Install a minor gutter and drip edge fixes as needed
- Light electrical fixes on a couple of outdoor and indoor fixtures.
- More items will likely be addressed as well
Additionally, there will be some scouts and parents tending to the inside for additional organizational and cleaning as needed. We will have a Hut Cleaning lead on the inside, while I organize those helping on the outside. I will bring all tools and supplies needed to fix the Scout hut but a pair of work gloves might be useful just in case.
Please go to TeamSnap and click "Going" or "Maybe" or "No" for your availability so we have an idea of attendance.
Join us for some beautiful hiking in the Ozark Mountains!
Scouts 14 and older have the option to backpack the 15-mile loop in the park. Great preparation and "shakeout" for Philmont.
Scouts younger than 14 will have the chance to take several day hikes ranging from 0.5 to 5 miles around the park.
This is a great chance to learn and improve your backpacking skills. Please note: We have male adult leaders signed up, but in order to participate we will need at least one female adult leader on this trip.
